Elaine Construction President Named Enterprising Women of the Year
– Elaine Construction, a full-service construction management firm, announced that President Lisa Wexler was named a 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year by Enterprising Women magazine. The award honors the country’s finest women entrepreneurs including their industry achievements as well as their community contributions. Award winners were honored last month at a three-day gala celebration in
Nominations were solicited for outstanding women entrepreneurs in five categories related to their annual sales volume – ranging from less than $1 million to more than $25 million. Award recipients needed to demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities.

Isn’t it cruel that the same little idiosyncrasies that make you fall in love with someone are, by definition, virtually impossible to find in someone else? Failing to get with her, you try and find her in someone else, only to be sadly disappointed when there is no one else like her. So it goes.
